Shards, Shapes and Colors in Hawai’i
Our Alphabet Project at Lincoln Park in Historic Downtown Hilo started in 2018 with 10 mosaic artists creating 26 alphabet boards. Because of Covid installation did not happen until July 2021. Gerdine was the inspiration and project manager for this project.

Since 2010 Gerdine has networked with other Mosaic Artists in Hawai'i which culminated in the organization of an art show with only mosaics, a first for the State of Hawai'i. In the month of September 1400 people came to see the show at Wailoa Center in Hilo.
